UzMaps (uzmaps.uz) is NDC's own product: a map platform for Uzbekistan built on OpenStreetMap data. Users search for places, addresses and routes on the map. Developers get search, geocoding and routing APIs, SDKs for the browser and Flutter documented at docs.uzmaps.uz, and a console for managing projects and API keys.
01The task
Companies in Uzbekistan that need maps, address search and routing have to piece a solution together from foreign services. We wanted a local platform where the map, search and developer tools live in one place.
02What we did
We built a public map with place and address search and route planning, along with an HTTP API for search, geocoding and routing. For developers we released browser and Flutter SDKs, documentation and a console where they create projects and API keys.
03The result
UzMaps runs at uzmaps.uz, with developer documentation at docs.uzmaps.uz.
